RARE Chinese Mudman Seated On A Carp (Symbol of Wealth and Success) Holding A Flower Basket - Circa 1920

The artist has portrayed Lan Tsai Ho as an old man. He was careful to include the flower basket, which is the emblem of the aged hermaphrodite. It is believed that one can communicate with the gods by using Lan Tsai-Ho's basket of flowers. He is glazed in the traditional Sancai Mustard Yellow, Cerulean Blue and Jade Green. He is 3 and 3/4 inches tall. Circa 1920. Condition is Very Good with only one rough rubbed area at the base on the side. The colors are vibrant. The overall condition is much better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well.
