Unusual Antique Chinese Mudman Scholar With Peach (representing immortality) and Flywhisk (representing authority or Leadership)

This very well-detailed scholar with his peach and flywhisk is rarely seen. The peach is the symbol of immortality, and the flywhisk symbolic of authority or leadership.

He is attired in the traditional scholar's garb of Lan Shen robe, glazed in Yellow, Green and Brown.

Circa 1900.

Ht. 4 and 1/2 inches.

The overall condition is certainly better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well.
