Chinese Mudmen - RARE Seated Pair With Teapot (Symbol For Hospitality) - Circa 1920s

This seated pair of Sages is 6 inches tall, over 4 and 1/4 inches across, and over 3 inches deep.

It is glazed in yellow and green with white accents.

Other than the usual bottom roughness it is in Very Good Condition.

The details are extremely good. The faces are wonderful, including the lines by the eyes.

Circa 1920s.

Condition Very Good.

The overall condition is better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them.
