Chinese Mudman Seated Pair of Sages With Flywhisk and Scroll - Circa 1920s

This is a fascinating pair for a number of reasons. The flywhisk and scroll are emblems of the scholar and sage. There is an open hole in the table, most likely for incense or aquarium trade.

Glazed in blue, yellow, and turquoise with white trim.

Circa 1920s.

4 inches tall by 4 inches wide.

Very Good Condition with only the usual roughness on the bottom and slight roughness at the base. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is one of the fabulous collection of Chinese Mudmen I just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades by a single owner. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition, with no breaks, cracks, or losses. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well.
