Don't be confused by the number D5531, which is the same for this rare Extra Large character jug and the much more common Large size Tony Weller Character Jug. This jug is over 6 inches tall, and has an opening of 6 and 1/2 inches.
This was only issued between 1936 and 1942. It was designed by Leslie Harridine and Harry Fenton.
