Somehow, pictures do not do this justice. I truly love the mood and serenity. I've always been deeply moved by the beauty of sunrise and sunset, and this captures everything. Arup Jensen, born 1906, created primarily marine paintings. One never tires of his work. This painting is from the mid 20th Century. The paintings size, without frame, is 25 and 1/2 inches (65 cm) high and 36 inches (91 cm) wide. The frame itself is 3 inches (7 cm) wide. This large oil painting depicts a view of a coast with a fishing boat moored just outside the coast, two boats on the beach and a beautiful sunset. It is signed by the artist lower left corner. The painting is in good condition with slight surface grime and abrasions. The beautiful wooden frame is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. It is ready for display. The painting was authenticated by art expert Mesa Bajric.
