Royal Doulton - The Incomparable Louis Armstrong, Large Character Jug, c 1983
Louis Armstrong was the greatest, in my never humble opinion! He is synonymous with Jazz. When asked what Jazz was, he answered "Man, if you gotta ask you'll never know".
Royal Doulton did its usual fantastic job of depicting Louis Armstrong with the life and personality he exhibited in real life. The handle is his horn.
This is a large jug, 7 and 1/2 inches tall, and in Excellent Condition. His Royal Doulton Number is D 6707. From The Celebrity Collection.
