This fine figural desk clock of European origin dates back to the 1880s and features a bronze eagle at the top. Crafted in typical Empire style this fine rarity has an alabaster socket with reticulated bronze ornamentation and anodized metal columns.
This superb desk clock is masterly crafted out of bronze, metal & alabaster and showcases classical Empire style. On top of this lovely timepiece we find the bronze sculpture of a majestic eagle. The clock housing is supported by two slender columns that are set onto an alabaster base. Fine decoration on the metal parts as well as a reticulated bronze ornament on the socket round of the appealing appearance.
The white porcelain / enamel face bears black Arabic numerals and simplistic hour and minute hands.

OVERALL CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Thin hairlines to the porcelain / enamel dial. Minor chips to alabaster socket.
SIZE: Height is 7.2 inches. Dial diameter including the bezel is 2.2 inches.
