I love flowers; especially roses. This is so realistic that one feels special by having a thing of such beauty to enjoy every day. This magnificent bone china sculpture of a very special rose was created to honor the 80th birthday of H. M. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. The Boehm Studios in Malvern, England, is revered for their incredible translucent bone china. They outdid themselves with this! We offer Number 347 of the 500 limited edition (300-46) released between 1981 and 1982. There have been two other subsequent releases of far less appealing Elizabeth of Glamis Roses, but they pale in comparison to this. Ours is in Excellent Condition. It is 8 and 1/2 inches tall, and 8 inches across. There has been a small expert restoration, and for that reason we are offering this at an incredibly low amount. It is listed in the Boehm Porcelain Price Guide (The New And Complete Porcelain Art of Edward Marshall Boehm) 2003 Edition at a current value of $2250.00.
