Wonderful Chinese Ceramic Sculpture of a Working Man, Marvelous Expression!

This strong Chinese Working Man, standing with a tool of some kind, perhaps an ax, is depicted leaning against a substantial rock outcropping. Everything about this sculpture denotes confidence and strength..... he could be in a commercial for Gold's Gym, as well built as he is!!! And his expression; a combination of confidence, humor, and perhaps a hint of a smirk. He stands 9 and 1/2 inches tall, and is in excellent condition. Circa 1970.
