Vintage Pickard Creamer and Sugar Bowl, c 1940 -1950

What a wonderful way to make your coffee and dessert have an elegant touch. Pickard of Chicago produced such lovely pieces. There is some glare from the flash; but the pieces are fine. This set is in gold with a handpainted gold design.

They are in Very Good to Excellent Condition; slight amount of paint wear and slight scratches that you will have difficulty finding.

I purchased these at auction from the estate of Gail L. Coble of the Dayton, Ohio area. (References for the authentication of the auction: Lehner's Encyclopedia of U. S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain & Clay; and 1800 Marks on American Pottery and Porcelain.)

The Creamer is 4 and 1/2 inches across and 2 and 1/2 inches high; the sugar is 3 and 1/2 inches across; a bit under 2 and 1/2 inches high.
