Cybis Magnificent Closed Limited Edition, "Blue Headed Vireo with Lilac, Male and Female" BOTH Pieces, Signed and Numbered, c 1968
This marvelous set was issued in a limited edition of 275, now long since closed. This is so hard to find, and so treasured by lovers of beauty in general, not only Cybis collectors.
These are pictured, one page each piece, mid-book in "Cybis in Retrospect" published 1971.
They are each 12 inches high. Something to treasure, that should continue to increase in value through the years.
This is currently listed in the Cybis Price Guide (August, 2003, by Carol Marren) at $2850. Since then, I would think
that they have continued to appreciate.
The pieces are in Excellent Condition, with no losses. There may have been some very minor restoration on one piece.
