20th C. Phenom: Pearl Necklace with Diamond Clasp

The finest pearls are so lustrous that you can actually see your reflection on the surface. When you look closely with this strand you can see faint shadows of light and the reflection of your outline – a cardinal sign of their very fine sheen and luster. The necklace has been restrung for security and is finished with a filigree clasp of acid tested 14k white gold set with a tiny single cut diamond.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Measurements: 15-1/4 inches (39 cm) in total length by 1/4 of an inch (0.7 cm) in width. Clasp is 1/4 of an inch (0.6 cm) in length by 5/8 of an inch (1.5 cm) in width. Weight of 23.2 grams (14.9 dwt).

Condition: Excellent; restrung for security.
