Mt Washington Victorian Hand Painted Lavender Vase
I can see this vase with a bouquet of daisies in it to match the hand painted daises on the front. There is very nice matte (no gloss) finish on this vase. Circa 1880 American, Mt Washington. The color is lavender or a light purple. The color is unusual for the time period. There are double rings above and below the design. The condition is very good. There is a very small air bubble on the inside rim that has broken through. It is hard to see and I could not bring it up with my camera.The vase is 5 7/8" tall. The top is 2 1/4" across and the base is 2 1/4" wide. A very nice example of the type of vases made during the Victorian era by Mt Washington.
