This gorgeous Royal Worcester bone china figurine was designed by Freda Doughty and is titled "Grandmother's Dress". This range comes in a variety of shades and was introduced in 1935, and withdrawn in 1983. Freda Doughty specialised in child figures was one of Royal Worcester's most successful modelers of the era. The backstamp on the base reads: "Modeled by F G Doughty, Royal Worcester, Fine Bone China, England, Grandmother's Dress, 3081". This number indicates that the figurine was made sometime between 1956 and 1972. The piece measures 16.5cm in height. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or other faults. A very beautiful piece of Royal Worcester for the discerning collector.
