This is a large BULLS HORN measuring 16 1/2" across with a diameter at the head end of 4 1/2". The piece dates to the early 1900's and would have been used as a decorative piece at Bull Fights and Processions....most likely owned by the Matador who fought & killed the Bull originally. The Horn has been wrapped around with .800 grade Silver decorated in leaf and scroll work with three glass jewels set in....it looks like there may have been several more jewels originally but time and wear has removed these.
