This Spalding Racquet was made in USA and the model is NATIONALIST B. The Spalding has original gut strings ....these old racquets did not have leather grips but the wood was grooved and they had a small leather collar at the butt of the racquet. This is present as is the Spalding Logo stamped in gold at the leather butt of the racquet. The Spalding name is on other side of racquet. The Nationalist B brand logo is shown in the photo on the racquet throat, slight marking. The frame itself is not warped and pretty good condition as shown in photo. There is also a dealers decal W.G. Tegtmeier & Co of Chicago on front of the racquet. The handle of racquet is patented for the USA on July 3rd 1923, & for Canada 1923. These vintage racquets are now scarce and ideal for collectors, tennis clubs, Museums, or theme restaurants. .
