GEO CATLIN Letters & Notes On The Manners, Customs, & Condition Of The North American Indians, Volumes 1 & 2 ,1841

Published By the Author at the Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly, 1841( Geo. Catlin). FIRST EDITIONS. TWO VOLUMES EX Bates College Library, Lewiston, Maine. VOLUME 1 is in very clean condition with no foxing or browning of pages. There are about 6 or so loose pages ...chipping on some. VOLUME 2 looks to have had a new cover but most of the pages have broken from the binding and really need to be individually taped so they can be re-bound....a few are badly chipped but in the main are good and again all pages are very clean with no foxing present. The price reflects the need for Professional Attention to restore the books as in good condition these volumes sell for upwards of twice the price asked.
