USSCo 'S.S. Monowai' Souvenir Napkin Ring

The Monowai started life in 1924 as the RAZMAK under the P& O LINES flag. In 1930 she was transferred to the Union Steamship Company and renamed MONOWAI. She served in WW2 as an Armed Merchant Cruiser and as an Landing Infantry Vessel...she was returned to the USSCo in late 1946...refitted out and returned to service. Scrapped in 1960 after a very long and interesting working life. This a very nice EPNS plated and very solid Napkin or Serviette Ring with the crest in enamel on brass. Made by ANGUS & COOTE, Sydney.
