Couture Tamotsu pattern, Vogue #1710, for a figure-flattering peplum top and slim skirt. After designing for several more well-known designers of the 1970s-early 1980s eras including Ann Taylor, Tamotsu became one of the key designers for Vogue patterns in 1987. Loose-fitting, blouson top has shoulder pads, bodice and peplum pleated into waistband, slanted pockets and above elbow or long sleeves rolled up (wrong side shows). No provision for Above Waist adjustment. Straight skirt, below mid-knee or below mid-calf, has waistband, back zipper and back hemline slit. A vintage Size 8, with measurements: Bust 31 1/2", Waist 24", Hip 33 1/2". The pattern is in Uncut, factory folded Mint condition, Complete with all directions sheets. The envelope has normal storage wear, with corner wrinkling.
