Humorous William Tell-Style Girl Archer JANTZEN 'Tapertop' Girdle Ad~October 1955 Mademoiselle Magazine

Humorous and charming William Tell-style Girl Archer ad for the Tapertop girdle and panty girdle by Jantzen. The Tapertop girdle is guaranteed by Jantzen to take two inches of the waist, with no pinching, no poking with its patented knit waist band. Also shown is their 'famous padded bra'. Jantzen called it 'the two inch difference between girl and glamour girl'...very clever. The ad is in Very Good condition, with slight darkening to the outer edges of the borders and two tiny sets of staple removal holes on the left binding edge. A fun ad, measuring 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" and great for framing. Shipped flat in a rigid sleeve and mailer for a safe journey.
