'I Dreamed I Was A Designing Woman..' MAIDENFORM Bra Ad~LOOK Magazine, 1955

Brilliant full color full page 1955 ad for Maidenform, 'I dreamed I was a designing woman in my Maidenform Bra', part of the most successful ad campaign in history that Maidenform ran from the end of World War II up through the mid-1960's. This ad for the 'Chansonette' dream bra in nylon taffeta depicts our gal dressed in a costume by Arnold Scaasi while she paints a fashion illustration, beautiful gowns on dress forms all around her! Brilliantly colored and very carefully removed from a 1955 Look magazine, it is in Very Good condition, with no trimming. Image is limited by size of scanner table only. Margins are tanned at the edges, with light chipping and curling at the bind edge. Would be invisible if matted and framed. Shipped in a rigid sleeve and waterproof mailer for a safe journey.
