Stunning vintage silver plated John Hardy Butterfly and Bamboo wreath-shaped dress Clip, created exclusively for Neiman Marcus in the late 1970s. It is featured on page 181 of Marcia 'Sparkles' Brown's jewelry guide, 'Rhinestone Jewelry: Figurals Animals and Whimsicals'. John and Cynthia Hardy make the island of Bali their home. Their design studio~where some six hundred artisans handcraft the jewelry under the supervision of an Asian and European management team—is also an organic farm. John Hardy says, “I think you can feel the hand of the artisan in our pieces. There's a warmth of spirit that remains in the silver, in the gold.” This substantial wreath shaped clip is marked with the John Hardy logo and script signature on the back. It measures 2" wide and is in Near Mint condition. Produced as a Limited Edition exclusively for Neimans.
