1930s German Dollhouse Miniature Grocery Store 1" Scale

With its vibrant colors and great Art Deco styling, this 1930s German dollhouse miniature grocery store is sure to be a favorite with both dollhouse collectors and miniature toy store enthusiasts alike. The wooden shop is packed full of vintage German food and beverages on open shelving and behind glass sliding doors at the back. The functional drawers on the back right have white porcelain name plates labeled in black script with the names of various grocery store sundries such as rice, cocoa, almonds, tea etc. The removable curved store counter holds a bright red cash register in plastic and metal, a metal store scale and paper dispenser.

Made in 1" scale, the grocery store measures 9 1/2" t x 22 1/4" w x 12" d and is in very good condition missing just one drawer and having a few replacement knobs. The curved isinglass window on the side needs replacing as it is foggy and warped towards the back. The paint is all original and in excellent condition. The boxed food appears to be of a later era possibly from the 1950s or 60s.
