Schneegass German Doll House Miniature Grandfather Clock – Red Lacquer 1910 to 1914 Large 1" Scale Dollhouse Furniture

It's not often that a Schneegas German dollhouse miniature grandfather clock like this one comes available and we are delighted to offer it for sale. Schneegas produced furniture like this for only a short time – from 1910 to 1914. It was characterized by Art Nouveau designs impressed into the wood and then stained with rich red lacquer – hence the name – red lacquer furniture.

The wooden front of this grandfather clock has lovely impressed Art Nouveau designs from top to bottom. At the top, the paper clock face is mounted under glass and surrounded with a gold metal bezel. A pendulum and weights are set in a mirrored compartment and a paper Schwarz Toys label can be found on the back.

Handcrafted in a large 1" scale, it measures 8 3/8" t x 2 1/8" w x 1 1/8" d. The impressed wood front is missing the top right corner as well as a small rounded piece on the left side just underneath the mirrored compartment and the end of the left base. Otherwise, it is in very good condition. Priced accordingly.
