6 Piece Antique German Art Nouveau – Jugendstil Doll House Miniature Parlor Set 1" Scale Dollhouse Furniture

Six piece antique German Art Nouveau – Jugendstil dollhouse miniature parlor set is finished in a rich mahogany stain with gold lithographed designs on all pieces. Crackle "mirrors" on the sofa and cabinet complement the design as does the stenciled graphic on the sofa back.

The sofa and chairs are covered in a dark pink silk fabric with gold trim lending a rich quality to this late 1800s early 1900s furniture. The cabinet has functional cupboard doors and a stationary drawer. The desk top is covered in green felt and also has a stationary drawer. Original nail head knobs.

Handcrafted in 1" to one foot scale, the sofa measures 6" t x 6" w x 2 1/4" d. The cabinet is 6" t x 3 1/4" w x 1 3/4" d. The desk is 4" t x 3 5/8" w x 2" d. The table is 2 1/4" t x 4 3/8" w x 2 5/8" d. The chairs are 4 1/8" t x 2 1/4" w x 1 5/8" d. All pieces are in very good condition with evidence of re-gluing on all pieces. Fabric has some light stains and shows some wear, however, there are no holes.

The Jugendstil style is similar to Art Nouveau. It was popular in German-speaking areas of Europe during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
