Tootsie Toy Dollhouse End Table – Gilt 1930s 1/2" Scale
The Tootsie Toy dollhouse end table from the 1930s is painted gold. The tabletop has angled edges and is supported by a turned pedestal with three feet. It measures 1 1/4" t x 1 1/4" w x 5/8" d. It is in excellent condition.
Manufactured by the Chicago based Dowst Brothers firm from 1922 to 1937, Tootsie Toy furniture is made of cast metal in 1/2" scale. The colorfully enameled furniture followed popular furniture styles of the 1920s and 30s.
