Strombecker Dollhouse Dining Room Chair - Walnut 1938 1" Scale
Made in 1" scale, it measures 3 3/8" t x 1 5/8" w x 1 3/4" d and is in good condition with a small nick on the edge of the chair back.
Strombecker, an American manufacturing company from the early 1900s, began production of wooden 1" scale dollhouse furniture in 1931. This dining room chair is from their 1938 De Luxe Furniture line. They produced living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furnishings. It proved to be a successful venture and production continued until 1962. They produced a wide variety of doll house furniture and accessories in both 1" scale and 3/4" scale (added in 1934) mirroring the decorating tastes of the times.
