Strombecker Dollhouse Floor Lamp - Cream Drum Shade 1953 1" Scale

Strombecker dollhouse floor lamp has a wood drum shade finished in cream gloss enamel, a metal pole and finial and a round wooden base painted dark brown.

Made in 1" scale, it measures 5 3/8" tall. The shade is 1 1/2" diameter. The lamp is in excellent condition.

Strombecker, an American manufacturing company from the early 1900s, began production of wooden 1" scale dollhouse furniture in 1931. This floor lamp is from their 1953 Deluxe Furniture line. They produced living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furnishings. It proved to be a successful venture and production continued until 1962. They produced a wide variety of doll house furniture and accessories in both 1" scale and 3/4" scale (added in 1934) mirroring the decorating tastes of the times.
