Made by Monarch Silver Co., Quadruple Plate, circa 1890, in excellent condition, all pieces have very clean interior. In the center of every piece there's a "repousse" design, popular in the Victorian era. There is no damage, no soldering, no cracks, no pitting and no loss of silver ! The four pieces consist of a 8 1/2" high & 8 1/2" wide (handle to spout) Tea Pot, the Creamer is 5 1/2" (handle to spout) & 3 3/4" high, the "waste" Bowl is 6 1/2" wide (handle to handle)& 3 3/4" high, the lidded Sugar is 6 1/2" wide (handle to handle) & 6 1/2" to the top of the lid. Again I could not get a good shot of all the markings, but it is marked Monarch Silver Co. with an encircle crown, Quadruple plate 595, Hand Engraved 8829S, "High Grade Metal" with a "bent muscle arm" holding a hammer. There are other hand engrave numbers, which indicates that this was definitively a hand made set ! This is a most wonderful & usable addition to your silver collection. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions !!
