1900's Fancy Sterling Silver Compact w/ long chain

This is an 1900's Sterling Silver Compact with a very long chain. The name "Alice" is engraved on the cover of this wonderful Antique compact. It measures 2 5/8" across, measures 1 7/8" across the lid and has a little tab for opening. It still has the original powder puff and some of the face powder on the inside with a mirror under the lid. It has a wonderful engraved design of florals and rococo scrolls & curls on the front. The back is Monogrammed in large fancy engraved letters "A B E". The Sterling Chain measures 54 1/2" in length. The compact is curved and rounded in shape. It is marked with the hallmark for the Schmitz, Moore & Company, Newark, New Jersey in 1915.
