1890's Victorian Porcelain Breakfast Milk Jug w/ Bird & Wild Roses
This is a 1890's Victorian Porcelain Breakfast Milk Jug. It has soft muted colors of light blue, beige and brown. These colors were used on early porcelain Dinnerware and on early French Haviland & Company ( H & Co ) has these same soft colors. It has trailing Wild Roses with Leaves and Blooms with the words " Remember Me " and has a Bird on the back perched on a Thorny Rose Branch. This Jug is unmarked and has no damage whatsoever. It does have some of the Gold worn on the top of the Pitcher and on top of the handle. It has a gold outline around the base of the pitcher that is not worn.
The measurements of this Jug are: 5 3/4" tall from the spout to the very bottom of the base, from the edge of the spout to the edge of the handle it measures 4 7/8", the bottom of the base measures 3 1/4" across and at the widest part of the jug, it measures 13 1/4" around.
