12 1/8" Limoges France Charger Decorated w/ "Lovely Violets"
This is a beautiful 12 1/8" Limoges France Charger that is decorated w/ "Lovely Violets". It has (4) Big Clutters of Purple Trailing Violets and is a quite outstanding decorative porcelain plaque. It has a soft creamy background that shows off the Violet flowers nicely. It has a wide scalloped Gold Border that measures 1/4" in width. This plaque is marked Blakeman & Hendersen ( a Retailer's mark) and Limoges France. We would date this piece from the 1890's-1900's. It is in wonderful condition with no problems what so ever.
