This is a 1920's Figural German Porcelain Art Deco Harlequin Place Card Holder. It is marked Germany with number 7433 on the bottom. This Harlequin figurine is sitting on a bed of Pink Flowers (Roses) and a place for a Place Card is located on the back of the figurine on the Flower Bed. The Harlequin Figure is playing a stringed Brown Painted Wooden Mandolin Instrument with gray strings. He has one hand strumming the Mandolin strings and his other hand is near the top of the handle. He is wearing a Yellow outfit with a Yellow Cap on his head with Light Brown Hair showing, with a big white ruffled collar and Yellow slippers with black pom pom balls on the shoes. He measures 2 1/8" tall, 1 7/8" long and with the mandolin is 3" long. It is in excellent condition with no problems.This is from a recently acquired extensive collection.
