Large American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Cheese Dish Dome Top

This is a Large and Heavy American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Cheese Dish Dome. This Cheese Dish Dome is a Wonderful example of the 1890's 1900's Cut Glass that was produced during that time. Being well over 100 years old is in remarkable undamaged condition. It measures 7" across, and 7 & 1/2" tall. The "Flashing Star" Cuttings are fairly rare and these are very well done. This is an Outstanding Cut Glass Pattern and is "Very Heavy". The Cutting looks very similar to "Plymouth " Pattern by Meriden Cut glass Company. This pattern is pictured in the"American Brilliant Cut Glass" Book by Bill & Louis Boggess on page 71 / Illustration number 97A.
