Fantastic Gorham Repousse Sterling Soap Box
This is a Fantastic Gorham Repousse Sterling Soap Box. This is the finest Soap Box we have ever seen. It is in near Mint condition. It is marked with the early Gorham Trademarks with the " Lion Anchor G " and the date mark for 1896 that looks like a Seashell. It is marked Sterling with the Retailers of Harris & Shafer and the pattern number 27. It weighs about 89 grams. The overall Floral Repousse design on this Sterling Soap Box is absolutely Fabulous. It measures 3 & 1/2" by 2 & 1/2" and about 1 & 1/2" deep. What a wonderful way for the love of your life to store her soap when traveling or have on a Vanity / Dresser on display with other dresser items.
