Hard to Find Vintage Crystal Madrid Depression Glass Butter Dish Circa 1932

Madrid Depression Glass Butter Dish

Gorgeous & Hard to FInd in Crystal, Depression Glass Covered Butter Dish in the Madrid pattern. c.1932-1939, made by the Federal Glass Co. of Lancaster, Ohio.

The color of this Depression glass butter dish is called 'crystal' and is in the Madrid pattern. This item is very rare in crystal, more value than color glass. It's from the 1930 era and to find one in such grand condition is extremely rare. Federal made a lot of green and amber Depression glass, with some crystal (clear), pink and blue.

This is a very elegant way to serve butter on special occasions!

Good condition with no cracks or cloudiness. There is however tiny spots on the edge of the lid only, where the glass has a slight edge. Not chipped per se, the edge is just rounded off and not crisp.

The bottom bowl is 6.75 wide, and it is about 5.5 tall. Manufacturer: Federal Glass Co.
