19th Century French Antique Oak Table

This is a beautiful center table made from solid oak by the second half of the 19th century during the renaissance revival of the Napoleon III period consisting of an oval gadrooned top supported by a boldly turned central shaft supported by 4 incredibly sculpted legs depicting some kind of Dragon heads, standing on claw feet mounted on their original wheels. The interesting part of this table is the fact that its top opens in its center to allow additional leaves and extend it up to 8 feet long. Note several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions Closed: 28 ½"high/ 50"wide/ 44"deep. Dimensions Opened: 28 ½"high/ 104"long/ 50"deep.
