19th Century French Antique Empire Period Oak Armoire

This is a simple but appealing Armoire made from solid oak during the end of the Empire period by the first quarter of the 19th century consisting of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a pair of paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment with 3 shelves standing on a massive pediment offering a large hidden bottom drawer. Lock and key are not original and were replaced at some point. Circa date 1820. Dimensions 84"high/ 55"wide/ 59"wide with crown/ 20"deep.
