19th Century French Antique Louis Philippe Period Lingerie Cabinet

This is an elegantly simple Lingerie Cabinet, commonly called Semainier by the French (The word Semaine meaning week), made from a beautifully patinaed flame walnut veneer highlighted by the original white Carrara marble sitting above the stunning façade offering a total of 7 drawers (including the large hidden drawer located underneath the marble). The large 6 drawers are mounted with a lock and their original brass escutcheons. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 57"high/ 39"wide/ 19"deep.
