Stunning best describes this superb pair of mid-century modern amethyst and diamond earrings in 14K gold settings. Each earrings consists of three emerald cut amethysts, one on the top of the earring, and two attached to square tubes of gold, plus five round cut diamonds. The bottom section of the earring is articulated just below the top amethyst, giving the earrings wonderful movement. The emerald cut amethysts are a beautiful, rich shade of purple, and the diamonds are nice and white. They are screw back earrings, but could easily be converted to posts for pierced ears. The approximate weight of the amethysts is 5 carats per earring, with about .20 carats of diamonds in each earring. These stunning earrings will definitely be noticed!
