Cini Sterling Sagittarius the Archer Zodiac Pin
This attractive, finely made, cast sterling silver brooch in the form of a cherub with drawn bow and arrow has an Italianate look, typical of many of Cini"s designs. Gugliemo Cini immigrated from Italy to the U.S. in 1922 when he was a young man and grew to become one of Boston's, not to say America's, foremost jewelry makers. The Zodiac pieces date from the 1940's and 1950's and are very collectable. This pin measures 2" X 2." It is in excellent original condition, includes a safety catch, and weighs .61 oz.
