Metlox Rooster Oval Platter

This oval pottery serving platter is hand decorated with a strutting rooster in red, green, and yellow. The platter itself is a very light yellow-brown in color. There is a shiny glaze. The Metlox Poppy Trail Mfg. Co. began making its popular dinnerware in the 1960's in California. This platter is 13 1/2" X 10" X 1 1/2" deep. It makes a a decorative display piece. This dinnerware is practical enough for every day use. The platter is in perfect condition.
