Brightly Colored "Dresden Plate" Patchwork Quilt

This bright "spring" green and yellow quilt dates from between 1960 and 1980. The circular "plates" of this quilt are hand pieced of 1950's cotton floral prints; all fabrics in this quilt are 100% cotton. The quilt has been prettily hand-quilted with feather wreaths at 7-8 stitches per inch. This bright quilt creates a cheerful, sunny effect. The quilt is in perfect condition and has probably never been used. It still smells of the cedar chest where it was stored for many years; it came from a Chicago area estate. The quilt is 68" X 84" and will generously fit a twin bed.
