Baker-Manchester Sterling Victorian Berry Spoon

This lovely old piece of American sterling is from the Manchester Silver Co. of Providence, RI. Bearing the Eagle and Shield mark, it dates from between 1895 and 1914, when the company began using the Cross and Crown mark. The fancy shaped bowl features a raised flower in the bottom. The fancy handle repeats the floral motif but shows side views of the flower, possibly a poppy. The workmanship is excellent. There is a Gothic "E" monogrammed on the handle. The spoon is in really excellent condition. It weighs 1.325 oz.
