Matisse Renoir Burnished Copper Cuff with Enamel

Pieces signed "Matisse" and "Renoir" are from the jewelry-making firm owned by Jerry Fels of Los Angeles and date between 1950 and 1970. His designs have a strong Retro-Modern look and are still striking and wearable today. This cuff bracelet of burnished and lacquered copper features an enameled panel set off-center. The panel is white with color dots of red, yellow, brown, and bluish-green. The cuff is marked "Matisse Renoir" on the inside. This bracelet measures 1" at its narrowest to 1 1/2" at its widest. The opening is 1 1/4." The inside diameter is 2 1/4." The bracelet fits an average sized wrist. The lacquering is in good condition with a few tiny scratches; the inside of the bracelet shows wear.
