Log Cabin Patchwork Piano Bench Cushion
This intricate piece of patchwork has been made into a cushion that would be a good size for a small bench. It measures 12 1/2" X 26." The fabrics are mainly rayons but include some silks; the fabrics are Depression-Era. The scale of the patchwork is quite small and the workmanship excellent. The log cabin pattern forms a dramatic graphic design. The condition is also excellent; there is no sign of deterioration or fading. The backing is a soft black rayon. The stuffing could easily be removed from this piece if one wished to frame it.
