Hand Painted Haviland Porcelain Sugar Bowl
This pretty white porcelain sugar bowl with lid is hand-decorated with delicate pink cottage roses. Pale green foliage and yellow centers to the roses complete the color palette. The handles are decorated with gold and there is a gold band around the base. This large sugar bowl measures 4 1/2" in diameter with the handles projecting an additional 1" on either side X 5" high. It is in perfect condition. The Haviland and Limoges marks date between 1893 and 1930. This sauce boat was imported and sold through Gimbel's, a famous Milwaukee department store of the era.
