Gorham Sterling "Florentine" Mustard Spoon

This lovely miniature ladle with the small bowl was used to serve mustard or other condiments from a little pot. Mustard pots normally have a notched lid to accommodate such a spoon. This spoon is of solid sterling silver and features raised repousse work on both sides. The floral pattern is "Florentine," a Gorham design from 1901. The bowl is gold-washed. The Gorham hallmarks are on the back of the bowl. There is a monogram, "NDD" or "ADD" on the handle. The spoon weighs .78 oz. and measures 4 1/2" long and 5/8" wide. It is in excellent original condition.
