Brass Sash Pin with Faceted Faux Topaz

This large costume pin dates from between 1900 and 1920, the Edwardian period. Such pins were worn to clasp a cloak or large scarf. They can be worn much the same way today. This pin is polished brass with a faceted Czech glass stone. The stone looks like a topaz but is glass. It has been bezel set into the pin which has an interesting geometric design. This pin measures 2" X 2 5/8." It is in excellent original condition. There is no safety catch.
